Coaches. Therapists. Trainers.

Do you want to share your offerings through video content?

Not sure where to start or uncomfortable on camera?

Frustrated your videos aren’t looking or sounding the way you want?

About You

You might be a coach, therapist, trainer or anyone who provides a service for someone. You’d like to share your offerings with people through video content in order to boost your online presence and attract clients, but something is stopping you from getting started or from getting the results you want.

Perhaps you’ve seen others in your field give it a go. Maybe a part of you has thought to yourself. . .

“I could do that.”

The Problem…

  • You’ve never made a video before and have no idea how to start

  • You have made a video before but aren’t sure you’re doing it right or it doesn’t look or sound the way you’d like it to

  • You feel like you lack a “process” for doing the whole thing - idea creation, scripting, filming, being filmed, editing, launching etc.

  • You feel uncomfortable, perhaps even anxious, about putting yourself out there in this way

  • You’re experiencing imposter syndrome - “why should people watch my videos”? Etc.

When potential clients see and hear you, it brings you and your service to life, cultivating trust and making it more likely they’ll want to work with you.

How I can help

Whether it’s a post on Instagram, videos on your website, a one-off workshop or a full blown online course…

I’m a BAFTA-nominated filmmaker

On the technical side, I teach you how to film yourself, set the scene, light your space, edit and publish using simple, low/no cost methods, as well as tips on software and hardware.

I’m a professionally trained actor

I use my actor training and experience in front of the camera to help you effectively deliver your content and your message, using your unique voice and perspective.

I’m an accredited coach

As a Performance Coach, I can help you work through what might be holding you back, build confidence and set goals, so you get yourself and your business out there.

How does it work?

I’ve broken down what goes into making video for your coaching or service business into 5 key areas:

Camera Confidence, Story & Audience, Filming & Broadcast, Editing & Publishing, Software & Hardware.

I call it the Video Confidence Wheel, a twist on the classic Wheel of Life. Just like the Wheel of Life, we’re not so much looking to master each area, but understand where you’re currently at with them so you can achieve a balance that works for you.

When you feel confident enough in each area, you can take ownership of the process; making it quick, easy and repeatable so you can spend more time working with your clients.

What's more important?

60% Performance, 40% Technical Skills

If you watched a video and really connected with the person speaking in it, would you forgive them for not always being technically flawless?

Yes, it’s important to have a good enough grasp of camera, sound, lighting, editing and publishing. It’s professional. It’s what will get your video seen.

But what is it that makes your audience want to connect with you over someone else?

Think of it like establishing good rapport in a session. More often than not, it’s how we are on camera and how we communicate with our potential clients that inspires them to want to work with us. Yet being ‘ourselves’ on camera isn’t always easy (even for professional actors!) and that’s why the emphasis in this programme is roughly 60-40 in favour of camera confidence.

Our Work Together

Tailored Programme

We’ll start by talking through the results of your Video Confidence Wheel. Whilst the overall goal will be the same - creating high quality video for your business and having a go-to process you feel good about - the journey we’ll go on will be unique to you. The shape of your wheel will shape the content of your programme and how much time we’ll spend on certain areas. We’ll explore your specific goals and obstacles, values and ideas.

Video Confidence Training

Depending on your goals, the training aspect of the programme might go into all 5 areas or focus on the 2 or 3 you’d most like to improve. After all, you might already be tech-savvy and have all the filming kit, but want to work on your on-camera confidence. Or you could be completely at home on camera but are overwhelmed by the hardware, software or recording process.

We’ll review your work together in the sessions and I can provide feedback and tips for best practice. We’ll discuss how you can then use these skills to promote your business through videos on your website, workshops, courses, and other promotional content such as client testimonials to boost “social proof”, trust and engagement. These sessions will always connect back to your specific goals and needs.

Coaching

It’s here where we can go deeper, and where you can optionally have the space to discuss and work through any decisions, choices, limiting beliefs or address that inner critic or imposter syndrome that so often comes up when we're putting ourselves out there. These sessions, or moments within sessions, are more led by you in what you’d like to explore, how you’d like to get there and what might be stopping you.

What do you get?

  • 10 hours of fortnightly one-to-one training and coaching:

    1 x 90-minute introductory session, 5 x 90-minute training/coaching sessions, 1 x 60-minute follow up session

  • Video Confidence video tutorials in each key area to watch in your own time

  • A simple, repeatable video creation process, specific to you and your business

  • Better lead generation

  • Boosted confidence

  • Freedom from limiting beliefs and that inner critic stopping you from having a business (and hey, maybe a life) you’re proud of

About me

As well as being an accredited coach, I’m a trained actor and BAFTA-nominated filmmaker, who has helped individuals and businesses grow through video marketing for 15+ years.

Whether it's through appearing in commercials for Lynx, Land Rover or Intel, making branded video content for big businesses such as GSK, BBC or ITV, promos for theatre companies or showreels and websites for performers and coaches, the approach is essentially the same.

It’s all storytelling and finding what works for the business and their audience.
